On November 11, 2025, Moluce Lighting had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from Citizen Electronics Co., Ltd., a global pioneer in LED and COB light source technology. The visit, led by the company's Hong Kong representatives, marked a significant step in exploring deeper collaborative ventures in the high-end commercial and architectural lighting markets.

Sally, General Manager of Moluce Lighting, alongside the company's technical team, extended a warm welcome. The discussions centered on the forefront of LED lighting innovation, alignment with international standards, and the exciting future of the partnership between the two entities.

Chris, representing Citizen Electronics, highlighted the company's legacy. "With over 55 years of design and manufacturing expertise in sensing, light sources, and visualization, we are committed to driving progress. Our focus remains on leveraging core technologies to lead in key markets," she stated.

I. UQ Series for Museum-Quality Illumination:

Launched in July 2025, the CITILED Hi COB UQ Series sets a new standard for precision. It delivers exceptional color fidelity with Ra > 95 and R9 > 90, ensuring true, consistent white light perfect for museum lighting and high-end retail. Its high-reliability package is backed by a 13,000-hour LM-80 report, and the small Light Emitting Surface (LES) allows for superior optical control.

 

II. VIVID Series - Light Quality & Efficiency:

Where Efficiency Meets Rich Color: Released in October 2025, the new CITILED VIVID Series utilizes proprietary Type-Y and narrow-band red phosphor (PFS/KSF) technology. It achieves a remarkable 25% increase in efficiency compared to its predecessors without sacrificing the vibrant, saturated color performance that designers require. It adheres to ANSI standards and supports 3-step chromaticity binning.

III. Hi4 Series - Miniaturization: 

Maximizing Performance in Miniature: The CITILED Hi COB Hi Ver.4 Series addresses the demand for compact, powerful light sources. Featuring one of the industry's smallest LES (2.4mm) and an ultra-high flux density, this series is engineered for applications where space is limited but output and quality cannot be compromised, offering models from 2W to 64W.

 

IV. Tunable White COB for Advanced Applications: 

This series is a tunable white COB utilizing Citizen's COB technology. Brightness and color temperature can be adjusted via four terminals according to the scene.High CRI Ra90. Tunable CCT range: Warm 2700K to Cool 6500K.Aims to provide solutions for narrow-beam-angle luminaires requiring good color mixing. Based on the CITIZEN COB platform, it offers superior color mixing characteristics compared to CSP/SMD solutions.

V. Amber Series 2200K COB for Advanced Applications:  

1. Aims to address human sleep quality issues.
2. Seeks to reduce impact on animals and plants.
3. Helps lower night sky brightness (light pollution).
